Who Can Apply for a 100% Mortgage?
To be eligible for the Track Record Mortgage, you must not have owned a property in the UK in the last
three years. You need a reliable rental payment history and no missed credit commitments in the last 6
months. You also need to be aged 21 or over.
The Track Record Mortgage is open to people looking to borrow up to £600,000.
How Much Can I Borrow on a 100% Mortgage?
The amount you can borrow is determined by your rental payment history and financial circumstances.
Skipton Building Society offers an interest rate of 5.55% fixed until 31 August 2029, after which it reverts
to the Residential Mortgage Variable Rate (RMVR) of 6.79%.
There are early repayment charges if you repay your mortgage early or exceed your 10% annual
overpayment allowance during the fixed term.
There is no charge for valuing properties under £1.5 million for mortgage purposes, and while a deposit
isn’t required, you can use your savings or a gifted deposit (subject to criteria) to reduce your borrowing
amount.
You can purchase a new build house but not new build flats.
